What is the CMIT Program?
The Chi Alpha Campus Missionary-in-Training Program is an intensive, ministry residency program that provides foundational training for a lifetime of vocational ministry. Our CMIT programs focus on three areas of development: theology, character, and ministry competency.

10 month intensive
Each approved CMIT program fulfills a national set of objectives designed to prepare the individual for life-long ministry.
Theological formation: Classes in Theology as well as training regarding the 16 Fundamentals and credential classes.
Character: Being a healthy leader begins with character and connection to God. As part of the CMIT program, participants are receive spiritual formation guidance and leadership development.
Ministry competency: the CMIT program goes beyond theory. As part of the CMIT program, individuals participate in local campus ministry practices and develop practical ministry skills in the process.
Work toward AG credentials
By completing an approved CMIT program you earn class credit on each level of credentialing by the Assemblies of God.
Certification: 3 classes are waived upon CMIT completion.
License: 4 classes are waived upon CMIT completion.
Ordination: 3 classes are waived upon CMIT completion.
